The overall objective of the project WIEQ (January 2008 - July 2009) is to create a transnational network for sharing and mutual learning of the strategies currently in use in the quality of employment, focusing mainly on men and on women .
WIEQ aims to examine in depth the studies done at Community level, national and regional levels in order to identify good practices that are potentially transferable and usable and local development agencies involved in the project and the wider level (regional) policies work.
OBJECTIVES
• Analyze the labour market and the key issues related to quality of employment
• Investigate the application of European directives and recommendations in the field of quality jobs
• Organize seminars for promotion at local and regional experiences on existing policies and their performance in the field of quality employment
• encourage mutual learning of how they are implemented the European strategies for employment, focusing primarily on the quality of employment for workers and for workers
• Disseminate information and encourage debate on the challenges and the politics of employment
• Create a good working climate between partners, encourage and support the exchange of experiences and good practices
• Give the stability and solidity of the transnational network has arisen as its objectives and expand to new areas such as regional development, tourism, research and development, information technology, etc..
